It's time for our Let Freedom Ring Paws Around the Pee Dee field trip, and we are inviting everyone we know!
Whether you're an avid field tripper already or joining in for the first time, come have a fun morning with your friends, family, and very own DCHS Darling! From partaking in the fun festivities to enjoying sweet treats to making friends with the residents of the Bethea Retirement Community, your friendship and your photos create golden memories that help your shelter dog find a home. Meet at our shelter at the pickup time, then you and your shelter friend get started on the free fun-filled field trip we have planned for you. Return your Darling by 1pm for a good night's rest after all the memories have been made!

You’ll check in with our team, pick up your field-trip buddy, and head out for a fun day together.
What You’ll Do on this Field Trip
Your outing can be as simple or as special as you’d like. Popular ideas include:
Meeting the residents and enjoying fun activities at the Bethea Retirement Community
Taking a walk around town or through a local park
Visiting a pet-friendly spot for a treat or pup cup
Snapping photos and videos to share with us and on social media
We’ll provide a collar, leash, and basic supplies. You provide the time, love, and fun!

Who Can Participate?
Individuals, couples, families, and responsible teens with an adult are welcome.
All participants must agree to our safety guidelines and waiver outlined when you pick up your shelter friend.
