Shelter services will be available to Darlington County citizens BY APPOINTMENT ONLY until further notice. CALL 843-398-4402 to schedule an appointment for pet adoption, reclaim of lost pets, or turn-in of pets. The shelter cannot host any volunteer or visiting groups at this time. To schedule pick-up of stray or dangerous animals, call Darlington County Animal Control at 843-398-4011.

The shelter is located at the end of Adoption Way off of Highway 151 / Harry Byrd Highway, approximately 1 mile west of the racetrack; turn by the blue water tower.
*** Adoption Way is the recently assigned name of the road. As of 9/12/20, Google Maps does not recognize the name. You can use 1705 Harry Byrd Highway if you need an address for navigation. ***
